Eat17, Hammersmith get state-of-the-art solution
The project
Eat17’s latest grocery and restaurant site in vibrant Hammersmith is its most ambitious project to date. With its Blakemore & Sons Spar and range of ‘Street Food’ dining options.
The challenge
The innovative venue needed a refrigeration, air conditioning and extraction system capable of combining high performance with efficiency and a visual appearance that would complement the design style of the industrial urban chic interior.
The solution
DCI designed and installed a custom-built centralised refrigeration pack system to service the store with the system featuring:
- Vertical 3-fan condenser installed at roof level (35m above ground)
- Refrigeration services through the building to the retail unit
- Refrigeration RDM Alarm system
- Chiller coldroom
For the air conditioning, DCI created a system with plant located at roof level and services throughout the building including:
- Six cassettes on the retail floor
- Three independent kitchen extract canopy systems with controls and Ventilation panel and wiring
- Installation of independent pizza oven extract flue with controls
