When gaming venue operator Luxury Leisure Limited expanded it’s operation on the High Street in Shirley, Southampton, the total refit required all new HVAC systems and plumbing works.
Working as the principal contractor, interior fit-out specialist Damian Cronin Limited managed the expansion project which saw the footprint practically double in size by combining the existing property with the newly acquired adjacent unit.
DCI was appointed to value engineer a full HVAC system - ensuring a cost-effective, energy efficient solution for maintaining the perfect environment for gaming customers.
DCI also undertook plumbing works for both customer and staff services within the new venue.
HVAC works:
- Installation of new heat recovery air handling unit, ductwork and grilles
- Installation of new inline direct driven extract fans to both toilets
- Installation of two new Daikin split systems
- Integration of two existing Daikin split systems, repositioning of indoor cassette units and undertaking a full service of both systems
- Installation of new electric recess type warm air curtain
Plumbing works:
- Installation of DocM compliant disabled washroom
- Installation of new staff washroom
- Installation of new kitchen sanitary ware
- Installation of new point-of-use water heater
- Installation of new hot and cold services including drainage to all sinks and toilets
